Renew a driving licence at 70 or over

The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) of the UK offers driving licence renewal service to British residents aged 70 or over. Those whose licences have expired or are going to expire in 90 days can apply online to renew them if they meet the minimum eyesight requirement, provide previous address details, and are not prevented from driving.

After renewing their driving licence, people of age 70 or over will be able to continue to use them in the United Kingdom so that they can drive legally across the country.

The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) is part of the UK government which is in charge of issues related to drivers and vehicle in Great Britain. It is a section of the Department for Transport and has many responsibilities such as driving licence issuing, vehicle excise duty collection, private number plates selling, and so on.
