The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) of the UK offers
driving licence renewal service to British residents aged 70 or over.
Those whose licences have expired or are going to expire in 90 days can
apply online to renew them if they meet the minimum eyesight
requirement, provide previous address details, and are not prevented
from driving.

- Go to the homepage of Directgov Motoring at Resource below.
- Then click on the button marked “Next” at the bottom left of the web page.
- Click on the button marked “Apply online” at the bottom left of the web page. If you have a Government Gateway User ID, click on the link marked “Log on”. If you have forgotten it or the password, click “Re-register”. If you are a new customer, click “Register”.
- Provide your personal information and complete the rest of the application procedures by following the instructions of the website.
