Manage your Discover Card Online

Discover, the well known American issuer of credit cards, offers a service to its card holders that allows them to manage their Discover card accounts over the internet. Signing up for the service is quite simple and only requires a few moments of one’s time. A card holder need only visit the Discover website, enter his or her card information, and then get started managing the account.

Managing your Discover Card account is easy when you do it online. Instead of having to call up customer service every time you have a question about your statement, you can just go to the website. From your online account you can generate statements, pay bills, view all recent card activity, update and correct any account information and more. It’s the easiest way to stay on top of your card.

First issued in 1985 by Sears, the major American retailer specializing in catalog sales, the Discover Card has become one of the most recognized and accepted cards in the world. It has become a major success in the credit card market and is now managed by its own independent corporation, Discover Financial Services, which also has its own bank, Discover Bank.

Instruction

  1. Go to the Discover website at Resource.
  2. Run your mouse over the link at the upper left hand corner of the page that is marked, “Log In.” This will cause a menu to appear.
  3. Click on the link marked, “Register Now,” in the section labeled, “Credit Cards.”
  4. Enter your card number and expiration date into the required fields, followed by your date of birth and the last four digits of your Social Security Number. Next, click on the link marked, “Continue.”
  5. Create your login by choosing a User ID and Password as directed.
  6. Set the preferences for your account as directed and begin managing your account online.
